Yuko Teshigawara

ボードに小さくカットした毛糸や糸を貼り付け絵画を制作しております。数百種類の毛糸の中からその都度、質感や色味がぴったりくる物を選び制作する為ポストカードカードサイズでも1〜3週間、A4サイズで1ヶ月ほどかかります。

I create paintings by attaching small-cut yarn or thread onto a board. Since I carefully select the perfect texture and color from hundreds of types of yarn for each piece, even a postcard-sized artwork takes about 1 to 3 weeks to complete, while an A4-sized (similar to US Letter size) piece takes about a month.
